6. What Next?
That's it for the basic tutorial. There's now a fully working cross browser menu system. It's still a bit basic - It would be nice for the menu items to change colour when the mouse is put over them for example.
Adding to the system
There is now a facility to add submenus. See page 9 for more information.
I hope you find this tutorial useful, if you do, let me know and cast your vote below. Writing it was a good way to review some old code that was cobbled together over a period of months. I know it's improved my understanding of the concepts involved.
In the next part of the tutorial, we'll add a nice transparency effect to our menus (MSIE only).
